About Bridgework

I’m Heather, founder of The Bridgework Project.

I help late-diagnosed and high-masking neurodivergent adults shift from survival into self-trust.

If you’ve spent years holding it all together in systems that were never built for you, Bridgework gives you a way to stop shrinking and start building.

Why Bridgework?

For 20 years, I thrived in tech and leadership roles that also quietly broke me. On paper, I was successful. In practice, I was exhausted—masking, overcompensating, and compromising myself to fit.

When I finally named my neurodivergence, everything clicked. I wasn’t broken. I wasn’t failing. I was bending myself into systems that were never designed with me in mind.

That realization led to Bridgework. A practice built on my lived experience, systems background, and my framework of Applied Authenticity—a practical loop for choosing growth without collapse.

Bridgework is where systemic clarity meets nervous system care. It’s where we untangle what’s truly ours from what was required, and where we practice building lives that actually hold us.

Bridgework isn’t just a philosophy - it’s a practice.

There have been many points in my life where I believed there was something wrong with me. I couldn’t find ease in roles or relationships others thought were ideal. I was told to compromise, to quiet my questions, to stay in my lane.

So I adapted. I masked. I shrank myself to fit into boxes that were never designed for me.

But discomfort turned out to be a teacher. It showed me where I was out of alignment. It taught me that silence protects no one. And it pointed me toward something bigger.

The truth is: neurodivergent minds don’t just think differently—we build differently. We notice patterns, we bridge gaps, we imagine alternatives where others see only constraints. That isn’t a flaw. It’s a superpower.

And in a world where old systems are breaking down, those of us who’ve been navigating misalignment our whole lives are uniquely positioned to lead what comes next.

Bridgework is the missing link. It’s a blueprint for reshaping not just ourselves, but the systems around us—with intention, with authenticity, and with room for everyone to thrive.

This isn’t about fixing yourself. It’s about building a world that finally fits you.
